This past weekend I was able to sneak away for a few days to fly home to see my family in Pittsburgh. Kid free, can you believe it? Although I love taking my kids and husband with me, it was nice to just focus on traveling light and not have to be momming for a few days.
First stop, Live Casino! My mom and I love a good casino! We usually go to the Rivers Casino, but lately I’ve been loving Live Casino! It has a small feel but still is full of fun and excitement. I love that it’s right by Westmoreland Mall and by tons of restaurants.
My favorite place to stay close to my moms house is Spring Hill Suites Pittsburgh Mills. Their continental breakfast is to die for! When my kids are with me, this is their favorite spot too! They have a great indoor pool that’s pretty warm!
Next stop, my old stomping grounds…. Gabriel Brother’s! If you haven’t been to a Gabes, if you are ever in the Pittsburgh/Greensburg area you need to go! They have the cheapest finds on clothing, accessories, and more! I could spend the day in a Gabes easily! When I was a little girl we used to shop here and hunt for the best finds of the day!
